Notably, Paula Badosa has withdrawn ahead of her fourth round against Alexander Eala due to a niggling injury. The star player made it to the pre-quarters after beating Victoria Mboka. However, Badosa's injury was so deep that she failed to even make it to the court.

Meanwhile, Paula Badosa shared a heartwarming post on Instagram after she retired in the middle of the Miami Open 2025, admitting that she has been dealing with many injuries and constant comebacks. The 27-year-old tennis star seems optimistic to stage her comeback soon.

"Hello everyone, as you know I had to withdraw from Miami and the upcoming tournaments. It's very sad and tough to deal with the pain and specially stopping and coming back every single time. Now it's time to go through recovery process again... Hopefully I will be back soon. I'm very sorry I can't make it this year. I have very good memories from this amazing tournament. See you next year," Paula Badosa wrote on her Instagram story.
