Tennis star Alexandra Eala has recently spoken about world number two Iga Swiatek attending her graduation ceremony at Rafa Nadal Academy. Notably, the teenage sensation went to Spain at the age of just 13 to train her game, considering her nation does not have any facility to become a WTA star.
The 19-year-old star player has admitted that they both knew each other, being professional WTA stars in the tennis world. The Philippines star hailed the world number two's legacy and stated that she felt so lucky to meet the five-time Grand Slam winner on such a prestigious occasion at Rafa Nadal Academy.
“She was like, 'Oh, I know you.’ I was like, ‘yes, she knows me'!" She did the whole ceremony with the class. She tossed the hat. I felt so lucky I was beside her," Alexandra Eala said in the video.
