Carlos Alcaraz has almost won every Grand Slam event in the sport except for the Australian Open where he did not have a lot of luck at all. However, he already has left a huge mark on the Wimbledon which is one of the biggest Grand Slam events out of the 4 with winning back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024. He is only the ninth player and the youngest to ever defend a Wimbledon title in his career.
The Swiss Maestro gives some tips
There is no doubt that Alcaraz has taken the Wimbledon event by storm in the last two years, but the player who still has the best record at the venue is Roger Federer himself who still holds the lead with 8 Wimbledon titles to his name. In fact, Roger Federer has praised Alcaraz and has even given some tips to the 21-year-old on breaking his record saying, "He'll be physically perfectly prepared. It's not something, you know, like Wimbledon, where maybe you've got to skip the French Open if you want to give yourself the best chance, or if clay is not your surface, you've got to do an extra effort.”
