Rafael Nadal shows his support for Jannik Sinner over doping controversy

Spanish legend Rafael Nadal gives his opinion on the Jannik Sinner doping controversy. The 22-time Grand Slam winner shows his support to the World number one.

There have been some players in the World of tennis who have suffered a lot due to the doping scandals and have paid the price. But the case of Jannik Sinner has had a lot of debate around it for a lot of reasons. There are plenty of people who have given their opinion on The World number one on what was the reason he was not given a severe punishment on failing both the tests and still getting a cleans chit.

The ITF and ATP had declared since the substance was found due to accidental use, the verdict was given that Sinner was innocent and was cleared to play the US Open. There are many people who have given their own opinions on whether it was the right decision from the organisation or not. This has become one of the most viral debates that has even got some of the biggest names in the sport involved as well.

The King of Clay gives his support

There have been some people who have given their nonest opinion on the case that Sinner should not be featuring in the US Open after his test results while some players were in his support that it was a accident and it was the right decision from the Organisation. One of the payers who have given Sinner the support in this matter is Former World number one Rafael Nadal who also joined the topic and gave his opinion saying " I have a virtue or a defect, which is that I believe in the good faith of people. I know Sinner and I don’t think he wanted to dope. Justice is justice and I don’t think we have to like it only when it is resolved in the way we think."

These words were enough to say that El Nino did not have the problem with the decision of the ITF at all and even added further where he showed his complete support to the World number one stating " I trust that if he has not been sanctioned it is because those who have had to judge this case have clearly seen that what happened was not punishable. I don't think they have judged him as innocent simply because he is the world number1. Everyone’s opinion is respectable and mine is this.” These words from the legend should be enough for everyone to support the decision made by the officials.
