Jack Draper stormed into the third round of Monte Carlo Masters 2025

Tennis star Jack Draper has stormed into the pre-quarterfinals of the Monte Carlo Masters 2025. The British star has defeated Marcos Giron in the second round of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament. He is now set to face a daunting task in the next game, where he will be facing Alejandro Davidovich Fokina as the two players now aim to seal the quarterfinal berth. Notably, Fokina seems to be in great form this time, as he crashed out American stalwart Ben Shelton in the opening game.

Draper had a great start to the game, where he smacked powerful shots to take an early lead in the game. The world number six then continued his stellar form in the next sets and baffled Giron to win this clash with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-1.

"It's not easy conditions here sometimes and we were playing later in the day but I feel like I have been transitioning well to the clay. I've been working hard to look for my forehand and do all the things to be effective on this surface. Hopefully this year I can have a good run," Draper told Sky Sports.
