The China Open saw another successful campaign for Carlos Alcaraz as he won another title this season and becomes after beating World number 1 Jannik Sinner in the finals in an intense 3-set thriller. This was another great match where we saw the best of both the World number 1 and World number 2 which has given birth to another big rivalry this season. There is no doubt that this was one of the best games we have seen between the two rivals.

Carlos highlights the gruelling and exhausting schedule of the ATP

This has been another successful season for Carlos Alcaraz with 2 Grand Slam titles to his name and is currently the World number 2 after this ATP 500 tournament victory.

However, the gruelling schedule of the ATP tournament has come into question as well and Alcaraz has already given his views on the ATP schedule and how it could affect the players mentally and physically. This is one of the biggest topics on which everyone is debating right now.

Alcaraz had to rush to the airport after winning the China Open and has explained the reason for this saying, "I just did everything in a rush we arrived here in Shanghai super late so I couldn't sleep as much as I wanted". 

This highlights the level of mental and physical exhaustion the players have to deal with because of the tight schedule made by the ATP. This might be sign that the ATP have to work on how they schedule the tournaments so that the players have enough to relax and stay fit throughout the season.
