'Probably they are...'- Carlos Alcaraz expresses concerns for players during the tough ATP schedule

Tight ATP schedule has been a growing concern among the Tennis stars. The pressure created has been a major reason for the stars suffering from both physical and mental health due to exhortion. Many have been struggling to handle this pressure which is why they are addressing this rising concern hoping for the committee to notice and come up with better alternatives. To this debate, the rising tennis star Carlos Alcaraz addresses his concerns on the current ATP schedule debacle.

The one player who also had to go through some of the tough fazes during his 2024 season was Carlos Alcaraz. Though the World Number 3 still managed to win some big tournaments, the Clay season saw the Spanish superstar missing a lot of games due to injury as well. There is no doubt that Alcaraz has still proven himself as a top contender, but it is safe to say that it has not been the most dominating season for him since there were some performances where he struggled to get going at all.

Alcaraz gives his opinion on the tough ATP schedule

Carlos Alcaraz has so far had a great time in the Laver Cup where he single-handedly got Europe to their 5th title this season. However, the World Number 3 has also shown his concerns about the long and tight schedule made by the ATP saying, "Probably they are going to kill us in some way. Right now a lot of good players are going to miss a lot of tournaments because of injury.”

Through his statement, Carlos Alcaraz expresses his conern for the players and knows how tough it can be for them. It seems like this scheduling debate is still going on and maybe the ATP might have to look into this situation going forward.
