Jannik Sinner claimed a dominant 6-4, 6-3 win over Alexander Zverev at the ATP Finals 2025 to qualify for the Semifinal from the Bjorn Borg Group. The Italian has an insane win-loss record of 50-3 on hard courts since the Shanghai Masters in 2024. He has yet to drop a set in the ongoing tournament and has won 68 of his last 75 matches.
Following his match against Zverev, the question was asked about his domination on the hard courts. The 4-time Grand Slam winner claimed that the hard courts suit his style of game. He felt it was easier for him to be in rhythm right from the practice sessions.

I feel like when someone hits fast, it's very difficult to change the pace of the ball. So this for sure helps me a lot when playing indoors," Sinner said.
"I also try to change the pace," - Jannik Sinner
The star player added that he tries to vary his pace every now and then. However, Sinner said he feels comfortable while playing on the hard courts.
"At the same time, I also try to change the pace because it is essential, especially with the difference in the players you play against. But yeah, you don't have the wind, you don't have the sun. You always have the same feeling on the court. It also helps you to feel more and more comfortable, at least from my side,"
