Jannik Sinner beat Alexander Zverev convincingly 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinal of the Paris Masters 2025 and became the first Italian to enter the final of the tournament. In the process, Sinner entered his ninth final of the year, his ninth finals in the ATP Masters, and registered his 52nd win in 2025. In the final, the ATP World No.2 will be up against Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Speaking about Zverev after the match, Jannik claimed him to be one of the best servers in the ATP. He knew that the German wasn't at his best, given the tight schedule he had in the last few months.
"When you drop the physicality like he did, you can’t find full power on the serve. Obviously, I'm happy to be in the final. But it’s not how you want to arrive. Playing against Sascha is always a special occasion. Today, he was not 100%. We saw that. He was struggling physically. He had a very tight schedule in the past months," Sinner said in the Post-Match Conference.
"Felix Auger-Aliassime is one of the nicest guys we have on tour," - Jannik Sinner on his final opponent
Sinner will be up against Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final. "He plays incredible tennis. He’s improved a lot, especially in the past months. He’s found his game again. I’m looking forward to it tomorrow," Sinner spoke about Felix.
"Playing against him, especially in a final, it's a great occasion for both of us. Obviously, we hope for a great final. I’m very happy for Felix. He’s one of the nicest guys we have on tour. Sharing the final with him is gonna be something special," the star player added.
