The 2024 season has seen it's fair share of great performances and some big struggles in the game of tennis and one of the players who has had one of her tough seasons so far is Naomi Osaka. The Japanese player at one time was one of the top stars in the WTA scene with 4 Grand Slams to her name and was the World number one back in 2019.
There have been glimpses of great performances from Naomi Osaka but it has still been a very underwhelming season for her as she has not been able to win titles and has a record of 19 wins and 16 losses this year. It is safe to say that it has not been the best comeback years for Osaka with a lot of losses after going through some devastating injuries which has kept her out of the game for a very long time and has recently announced that she has split from her coach as well and was recently seen practicing with legendary coach Patrick Mouratoglou.

Former WTA coach gives a stern warning to Osaka
The sight of seeing Osaka traing with Patrick Moratoglou saw some great reactions from the fans considering the history of Mourataglou with Champion players like Serena Williams, but there are some people who do not agree with the decision of Osaka choosing Patrick. One of them is former WTA coach Rennae Stubbs who gives a stern warning to the former World number one bringing up his history with Simona Halep saying, "He has arguably f**ked up Simona Halep’s life, you know, with these incidents, with these, you know, allegations of who is the one that brought these people in that has, you know, put this stuff in her drinks, or whatever the hell, and she’s now, you know, had a two-year suspension. I mean, I don’t know, I’d be a little wary of having people around me that had those credentials.”
These are some strong and harsh words said by Stubbs against one of the most legendary coaches in the Tennis World which will either result in her getting a lot of backlash or support depending on the fans who support the decision or not.
