World number 4 Daniil Medvedev shows his displeasure with the balls being used in the ATP Finals this season in Turin. The debate continues as the Russian number 1 says that he has lost all interest in being on the court and playing in the ongoing tournament. A big issue with the players.

The ATP Finals has already witnessed a fair share of surprising results and one of them is seeing Russian number 1 Daniil Medvedev losing his first match to US Open finalist Taylor Fritz in straight sets. This was a disappointing performance from Medvedev who was completely outplayed by the American star which also led to him making a tantrum on the court and getting a penalty from the chair umpire.

Medvedev joins the tennis ball debate

There has recently been a big debate on the tennis balls being used in the tournaments right now. It was Alexander Zverev who also displayed his disappointment on this matter. Medvedev has also recently joined this debate expressing his views on the balls being used saying " With these balls, everyone can hold the rally. It's been like that for 2, or 3 years. Every practice session is a struggle. Every match is a fight. Now, I no longer feel any pleasure being on the court." It is safe to say that Medvedev is not happy with the balls being provided to them.

Though Medvedev has been known to take things too seriously in the past since we are hearing a lot of complaints about the quality of the balls, there might be some things the ATP and the ITF will have to look into. This is turning out to be a growing issue among the players and we hope that the people look into this matter so that the players can have a great game of tennis in the upcoming matches.
