'I hope that this thing...' - Carlos Alcaraz expresses his views on WADA's appeal on Sinner's doping case

The Jannik Sinner doping scandal has come back to life and there are plenty of big players joining the debate once again. Sinner's rival Carlos Alcaraz has given his opinion on this matter as well. The Spanish superstar hopes that this situation dies down and the World number 1 can focus on his game and keeps performing the way he has all season. 

The Jannik Sinner doping controversy has continued to making the headlines as the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) appeals to get the World number 1 banned for 2 years. Though Sinner had a great and successful year so far, this is one of the biggest issues that has come back to bite him once again. There are plenty of big players and experts who have given their opinion on this matter as well after the case has been officially reopened.

Alcaraz joins the debate

There have been plenty of big names in the sport who have given their opinions on this matter and it turns out that Sinner's rival and top contender in the ongoing China Open Carlos Alcaraz has also entered the debate giving his views on the WADA appeal and the case saying, "I don't know how it can be. But for sure I understand the position. I feel him, but anyway, the game and the level that he's playing with everything he's been through right now, it's insane".

There was no doubt that Alcaraz is also supporting the Italian sensation on this matter and has even added a statement hoping that he gets past these situation. He said, "I hope that this thing, this term will be aside soon and he's able to stay focused on what he loves, and that is playing tennis, trying to keep going. It turns out that the two rivals are still wishing well for each other and want to continue to face each other on the court."
