Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz is the champion of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament. The 21-year-old star player defeated Lorenzo Musetti in the final showdown with a scoreline of 3-6, 6-1, 6-0. The tennis sensation has now climbed to world rank two, surpassing Alexander Zverev, after winning the ATP 1000 Masters title.
The star player has showcased thankfulness to his team while affirming some beautiful words for them. The 21-year-old star player stated that his team has always motivated him to do some great work. The four-time Grand Slam winner recalled the tough phases when he suffered early defeats, especially in the Miami Open 2025, where he crashed out from his opening round before Jack Draper defeated him in the Indian Wells 2025 semi-finals. He suffered an early defeat in the Qatar Open 2025 as well before winning the ABN Amro Open 2025.
“To my team... I have no words to say how grateful I am for the great work and for everything. To be my team in the professional part and to be my family, because I feel like we are like a family. We’ve been through a difficult moment the last month. We’ve been always together, really strong together. Going the right path and doing great things," Carlos Alcaraz said after the win.

Carlos Alcaraz stated that he came to Monaco and played a really great game. The 21-year-old star player revealed that his team motivated him to win the tournament here. In addition, the Spaniard has thanked his family and the Monte Carlo Masters crowd.
"Just to come here to Monte Carlo and just to play good tennis. I want to say thank you for everything. You made me stay here and win this tournament. I want to say thank you. I love the people who are standing here and the people supporting at home as well," he added further.
