Felix Auger Aliassime beat Alexander Zverev 6-4, 7-6 in straight sets to qualify for his first-ever semifinals at the ATP Finals 2025. Following his win, Felix stressed the need for players to enjoy Tennis and complain less about their tiredness. He claimed that the Tennis players are lucky and blessed to be able to get to play a lot and earn money with their skills.

Auger-Aliassime was interviewed after beating Zverev, where he was told that enjoying the game seems to be a rarity in the sport today, which should not be the case. Felix agreed to it and wondered why it became difficult for the players to enjoy playing.

"I don't know how guys don't enjoy it, to be honest. I think they lost perspective completely. I get that you can get tired. I'm tired, too. I do trips around and I go see different circumstances around the world. I mean, we're just lucky and blessed," Felix said.

"If you want to play fewer tournaments, stay home. Nobody's forcing you to be here," - Felix Auger-Aliassime

Auger-Aliassime added that he wakes up every day and enjoys the process of preparation and playing the sport. While he agreed that he gets angry after losing for about a day, Felix felt players should not complain and better stay at home if the schedule feels tiring.

"In my humble opinion, every day I wake up and I enjoy. I enjoy that I'm here. Even if I lose matches, it's okay, I'm pissed for a day. I don't know. If you want to play fewer tournaments, stay home. Nobody's forcing you to be here," Auger-Aliassime added in his statement.
