Novak Djokovic expressed his views on the protests led by university students in Serbia, which were ignited by the tragic accident at a railway station in Novi Sad. The widespread demonstrations throughout Serbia are a direct response to the mounting dissatisfaction with President Aleksandar Vučić's inadequate handling of this devastating situation.

In response, university students have become active participants in advocating for transparency. Their actions have temporarily suspended classes.
Students have also voiced their opposition to the state-run RTS television for disseminating government propaganda that sought to undermine the demonstrations. He regarded the educated youth of Serbia as the nation’s most valuable asset.
