Australian Open 2025: Men's singles entry list and all you need to know

The Australian Open main draw offers several pathways for players, one of which is through the qualifying rounds. This year, a total of 128 players will compete for the opportunity to participate in the first grand slam tournament of 2025. 

The Dates for The Qualifying Round at the Australian Open 2025

Qualifying will take place from Monday, January 6, to Saturday, January 11, providing players a crucial chance to showcase their skills. To secure a spot in the main draw, participants will need to successfully navigate through three rounds of qualification. The first qualifying round will take place on January 6th and 7th followed by second and third qualifying rounds on January 10th and 11th.

Qualifying for the Australian Open will be held at Melbourne Park, which serves as the main tournament venue. With 33 hard courts available, the facility is well-equipped to efficiently accommodate the qualifying rounds.

A total of 32 players—16 men and 16 women—will secure their spots in the Australian Open singles main draw.

The Australian Open main draw is set to begin on Sunday, January 12, and will conclude on Sunday, January 26.
