According to a Times of India report, the three-time Grand Slam winner is set to remain coach through the French Open and Wimbledon, with a possible extension into the summer. It is expected that the two legendary players will reunite in March during the Indian Wells Masters. The star player was last seen in action in the first Grand Slam of the year, where he withdrew from his semi-final game against Alexander Zverev. Despite that, the 37-year-old legend made bold headlines after he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinal thriller.

Earlier, the Serbian ace seemed to be remaining noncommittal about his future with his new coach, Andy Murray, after the 24-time Grand Slam champion withdrew in the 2025 Australian Open semi-final at the Rod Laver Arena of the Melbourne Park on January 24. While confirming that he has only positive feedback to give three-time major winner Murray, Djokovic stated that he would be discussing the future of their player-coach relationship once they moved past the disappointing result in the 2025 Australian Open.

“I don’t know. We both were disappointed with what just happened. So, we didn’t talk about the future steps. You know, we are so fresh off the court. I will definitely have a chat with Andy and thank him for being here with me and give him my feedback, which is of course positive and see how he feels and we make the next step. I think we both need to cool off a little bit and then we will have a chat,” Novak Djokovic said in the post-match presentation.
