Tennis sensation and world number three Carlos Alcaraz has won his first indoor title at the ABN AMRO Open 2025 in Rotterdam, outplaying Alex de Minaur 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. The magnificent win marked the 21-year-old's first title of 2025 and his 17th ATP title of his career. With this thrilling win, Alcaraz now becomes the youngest male player to win titles on all court surfaces. The star player is also the first Spaniard to win the Rotterdam Open in its 52-year history. The star player, who was seen battling the cold during the tournament, wore a nasal strip to aid his breathing.

With Rotterdam crowned to his name, Alcaraz now becomes the first-ever player to win the showpiece event in its 52-year history. The star player was seen acknowledging his improved performance on indoor courts, stating that it was just a matter of time before he played good tennis on the surface.

The four-time Grand Slam winner admitted that many players perform better than him on indoor courts due to limited experience. He thanked his fans for their support during his first time playing at the tournament.

‘That gives me a lot of confidence.. my best level will also come on this surface. This title is special because it is the first one indoors and I have shown that I can play well on this type of court. I'm happy because I knew I had the level to play well in these conditions. There are players who have a better game indoors, but I've managed to beat players like them and that gives me a lot of confidence.  My best level will also come on this surface , I have to work on improving what I've trained for," Carlos Alcaraz said after the win.
