Kho Kho World Cup 2025: Watch video of India outclassing Brazil 64-34

Indian men's team claimed their second win in a row in the ongoing Kho Kho World Cup 2025 after they beat Brazil 64-34. The hosts were challenged by the visiting side in the first turn. However, the Indian men managed to make the last three turns their own and beat Brazil. Pabani Sabar, Rokeson Singh, and Aditya Ganpule starred for the home side.

India improved on a lot of fronts compared to their performance in the inaugural match of the tournament against Nepal. In the first turn, Brazil started well and claimed 16 points with their attack. Despite the good show from the visiting side, India managed to sneak in two defensive points as two of their raiders lasted over a minute.

With the same momentum, India started their second turn and had a go at their opponents. The home side claimed a whopping 36 points with their attack as Pabani, Rokeson, and Aditya gave tough time for the defenders. Brazil did not give up despite trailing by 22 points by the end of the second turn.

They attacked well throughout the game and showed great composure. Mauro Pinto, Joel Rodrigues, and Matheus Costa led Brazil's attack. In the third turn, Brazil put on a strong performance to claim 34 points. The last 7 minutes of the match belonged to the home side as they showed why they are among the favorites to win the Kho Kho World Cup.

After being put under slight pressure, Aditya and the skipper Pratik Waikar stepped up in the attacking front. They were helped by Rokeson and Mehul who were good in skydives and touch points respectively. A collective team effort ensured that the home side emerged victorious with a good margin of 64-34.

While India did well against Nepal, they did not give their best performance. It meant that the score difference was only 42-37. Against Brazil, India displayed a better attacking game which helped them to secure a big win in their second game.
