Jeff Jarrett shook the AEW universe by claiming he would make a massive announcement about his future. The veteran said it was his personal decision and had nothing to do with anyone. In the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite, Jarrett could potentially announce his retirement. It could also be a case of him letting the fans know about something else.

Jarrett is one of the most experienced wrestlers across promotions. In his prime, he did a lot of things which have inspired the younger wrestlers. But the veteran feels his time might be up. Backstage at AEW Worlds End, Jeff spoke with the host along with Satnam Singh and Co.

Jeff said he had taken a decision about his career and his partners were shocked by it. They thought it could be him announcing his retirement and asked if it was indeed true. Jeff Jarrett said he thought a lot before coming to the decision. His partners were unaware of what was going through the veteran's head.

Is Jeff Jarrett retiring?

As they enquired Jeff about the same, the star wrestler said that he usually spends the week between Christmas and New Year to reflect on how his year went and how his future could be. Jeff said he has been doing it for 30 years and is currently doing the same.

Jeff said that he would make a big announcement about his career on AEW Dynamite in Asheville, North Carolina. Everyone in the locker room was shocked to hear what Jeff said. Most thought the announcement would be about the end of his AEW career. It is to be seen if it indeed is the case.

In a career spanning over 30 years, Jarrett has spent his last two and a half years in AEW. The veteran signed a contract with the company in 2022. He initially became the director of business development. Jarrett has wrestled in over 40 matches in the company. But it could well be the end of his Wrestling career.
