Bryan Danielson had a bad ending to his world title reign at AEW Wrestle Dream 2024. Jon Moxley did not just beat him but ensured that Bryan experienced death. The impact was so bad that Danielson was taken out of the arena on a stretcher. Since then, many have been thanking Bryan for his career leading to speculations on his retirement.

Ahead of 'All In' London 2024, Bryan announced that the expiry of his contract with AEW would mark the end of his career. The former WWE Superstar claimed that there was a need for him to spend some time with his family members. Daniel is said to have promised his wife to retire from Wrestling after the match against Swerve Strickland.

To everyone's surprise, Bryan beat Swerve with massive crowd support at 'All In'. Though his contract was over by then, Bryan promised to deliver a good reign as a world champion and added that the end of his reign would mean the end of his Wrestling career.

Signs of Bryan Danielson's retirement

As promised, there could be a case of his appearance at AEW WrestleDream 2024 being his last match. The ending suggested that he could be well written off AEW TV. Bryan sold the incident after the main event of the night so well that it seemed like he was nearly killed.

Jon Moxley asked Wheeler Yuta to cover Bryan's face with a plastic bag something which was hated by the star wrestler. After seeing the betrayal from even someone like Yuta, one could predict Danielson might not have any motive to wrestle. There is a good chance of his match versus Moxley being his retirement match.

In the last 30 hours or so, the fans have concluded that it was his retirement match. Many including the official handle of AEW took to X and other social media platforms and came with the message of "Thank you Bryan". It could well suggest that the former WWE Superstar might have retired from Wrestling.
