WATCH: Swerve Strickland returns, denies MVP's business offer at AEW WrestleDream 2024

Swerve Strickland returned to AEW WrestleDream 2024 for the first time since his loss to Hangman Page at 'All Out'. The star wrestler addressed the business offer of MVP and nearly surprised Prince Nana on a couple of occasions. At his home town, Swerve did not turn against his family and rejected the business offer of MVP and Shelton Benjamin.

Swerve returned to AEW for the first time since 'All Out'. The star wrestler was welcomed by Prince Nana and the fans who chanted "Welcome Home". Strickland was happy to be back and claimed to give an update on his past, present, and future goals. Before he could talk anything, MVP and Benjamin interrupted him.

MVP claimed that he was surprised to see no replies from the former world champion to his mails, messages, and DMs on different platforms. However, he thought Swerve Strickland was probably taking his time to think about the offer. MVP claimed himself to be a great manager and flexed about his resume.

Swerve Strickland rejects MVP's business deal

The former WWE manager claimed that he could revive the careers of wrestlers who should've been world champions but weren't. MVP let Swerve know that the past couple of months have been rough reminding him of losing the world title, childhood house, losing to Hangman Page, and so on.

Swerve agreed his tough time and felt everything happened under the watch of Prince Nana. However, he felt none of it would've been possible at the first place without Nana. While Swerve appreciated the managing skills of MVP, he denied their offer claiming he wasn't ready to turn his back against family.

Shelton confronted Strickland and said he was not offered but was told to accept the business deal. Both were about to have a brawl with each other before MVP convinced that it was not the time for the fight. The fans were happy to see Swerve deny the offer. MVP, however, was hopeful of swerve accepting the deal in the weeks to come.
