Bryan Danielson was nearly killed by the Blackpool Combat Club after the main event match at AEW WrestleDream 2024. The star wrestler lost the world title to Jon Moxley and was up for a horror experience. Wheeler Yuta betrayed him and rejoined the BCC who used a plastic bag to cover Bryan's face. Danielson was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.
The match between Jon Moxley and Bryan was intense. Neither of them were ready to hand over an easy win. Marina Shafir was sent back to the locker room after the referee caught her involvement in the match. From there on, it was all upto Jon to take care of his match. He stood tall by the end of the match.

The former WWE Superstar claimed a win via submission. Bryan was done for the night and probably needed rest. But the BCC members surrounded him with some weapons. Claudio brought the plastic bag and got ready to cover Bryan's face with it.

Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allin came to Bryan's rescue. While the BCC members acted as if to move out of the ring, Darby had a surprise as Wheeler turned against him. He was given the task to cover Bryan's face with teh plastic bag. The star wrestler found it difficult to breathe.
Darby was in deep pain as he his hands were tied by the BCC members. As the security guards, Jeff Jarrett, and many others tried to save Bryan Danielson, it was not possible. Bryan lost his consciousness and Jon delivered a Curb Stomp through the steel chair. By then, many wrestlers came to look for Bryan.
However, it was a bit too late. Danielson seemed like he was nearly killed in the segment. The BCC members returned to the locker room. The fans chanted "Thank you Bryan" thinking it was his last appearance in a ring. He was taken out of the arena on a stretcher. Allin could not believe what he saw in front of him.
