The Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, was the live venue for the anticipated action-packed night of AEW Revolution.  AEW World Champion Jon Moxley of The Death Riders defends his title against “The Rated R Superstar” Cope in the show.  Additionally, in a Hollywood Final Match, Toni Storm, the AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless,” will defend her title against Mariah May, “The Glamour.”

Harley Cameron joins them to discuss Toni Storm vs Mariah May for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Hauser is criticized by QT Marshall, who joins the panel, for entering the wrestling industry. When Marshall joins the panel, he criticizes Hauser for entering the wrestling industry. Bingo halls and wrestling at large arenas are very different, he claims. He offers to assist Hauser with his training. Hauser gains the upper hand when Marshall and him lock up. As he walks away, Marshall throws his drink at Hauser right before the show starts.

Mercedes Mone defends her title against Momo Watanabe

At AEW Revolution, Mercedes Mone maintained her dominance over Momo Watanabe and extended her reign as the AEW TBS Title. Before locking in the Bank Statement, Mercedes struck the Mone Maker at the conclusion.  Watanabe had no choice except to tap out. This was Mercedes’ 15th successful defense of the AEW TBS Title.  She defeated Willow Nightingale to win the championship at AEW Double or Nothing 2024.

Hurt Syndicate wins AEW Tag Team match

The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) lost to The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin), who kept their AEW Tag Team Titles at AEW Revolution. Despite their best efforts, the Youngest Men Alive were unable to overcome the Hurt Syndicate's might despite their veteran rookie expertise. Lashley struck both Outrunners with a spear after Benjamin struck them with a corner knee in the end.  The Hurt Syndicate successfully defended their AEW Tag Team Titles for the second time. On the AEW Dynamite show dated January 22nd, they won the crowns from Private Party (Quen & Zay).

Kazuchika Okada retains AEW Continental Championship

To maintain his AEW Continental Championship, Kazuchika Okada put Brody King on a short leash.  Brody King lost the AEW Continental Title against Kazuchika Okada at the AEW Revolution. Even though King’s strong attack was eventually overcome, Okada was able to hit the Rainmaker to win.

Toni Storm beat Mariah May to retain AEW Women’s World Championship

The story of Mariah May and Toni Storm reached a dramatic end. There were no disqualifications and falls were scored anywhere in the Hollywood Ending match at AEW Revolution, where “Timeless” Toni Storm defeated Mariah May to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship. By the match’s end, both women were heavily bleeding.  Storm and May taped their hands to the glass. A bottle was broken between Storm’s legs by May. May slammed Storm repeatedly against the glass. Ultimately, Storm managed to rally onto a chair with a Storm Zero.  She beat May with a belt and then repeatedly struck her with a shoe. Through a Hollywood Ending sign, Storm’s Storm Zero sealed the victory.

Kenny Omega wins AEW International Championship

Kenny Omega has won the AEW International Championship for the first time. At AEW Revolution 2025, Kenny Omega won the AEW International Championship by defeating Konosuke Takeshita. After an exchange of counters, Omega quickly won with a roll-up, ending the contest. This was Omega’s fourth bout since he resumed competition following a more than one-year hiatus due to serious diverticulitis-related health problems.

Jon Moxley retains AEW World Championship; turns to Triple Threat match

Jon Moxley defeated Cope to defend the AEW World Championship in the main event of the AEW Revolution.  Cope had earlier leveled the playing field by eliminating Moxley’s Death Riders stablemates.  Nevertheless, one of them continued to participate in the fight.  Christian Cage, the newcomer, paid in to make the fight a Triple Threat by hitting Cope with his contract.  Moxley put Cope in a bulldog choke and forced him to pass out to seal the win, even though he almost pinned him after a Spear and a Killswitch.
