The star raider became the first player in the history of PKL to claim 1700 points. While the Bulls had a slender advantage of 19-16 at that point, the Giants made a massive turnaround. They saw themselves leading by three points, thanks to the defensive unit's brilliance. The score read 26-23 in the favor of Giants.

Gujarat played with great control from there and did not commit silly mistakes. The pressure was on the Bulls to try and get closer to the Giants' score. While they attempted for the same, the game slowly started to slip away from their control. In an attempt to claim points, they lost some points.

Gujarat mixed caution with aggression and displayed great character and strategy on the mat. The Bulls tried their best to close the game out on a good note. It was the Giants who stuck to their defensive strength and got results in their favor. They claimed a win of 36-32 and handed the Bulls their second consecutive loss of the season.
