The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 launched in spectacular style with an action-packed opening night, as both Telugu Titans and Dabang Delhi KC secured impressive victories in their respective matches. The Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad played host to the season’s opener, where fans were treated to an exhilarating contest, particularly highlighted by Pawan Sehrawat’s historic performance for the Telugu Titans.

Pawan Sehrawat, playing for the Telugu Titans, showcased his dynamic raiding abilities from the outset. He earned the season's first raid point, quickly adding more to put his team in the driver’s seat early on. The Titans surged to a three-point lead, to the delight of the local crowd. However, the Bengaluru Bulls, led by Pardeep Narwal, responded fiercely, cutting the lead down to a single point and turning the game into a tightly contested battle.

As the first half wore on, the Telugu Titans regained control, powered by Sehrawat’s brilliance and backed by strong defensive support from teammates like Krishan, Vijay Malik, and Sagar. By the halftime whistle, the Titans had established a commanding nine-point lead, with the scoreboard reading 20-11 in their favour.

Bengaluru Bulls failed in 2nd half!

The second half saw a determined comeback from the Bengaluru Bulls. Their defenders put the Titans’ raiders under pressure, while Pardeep Narwal and Surinder Dehal capitalized on scoring opportunities. Bengaluru clawed their way back, reducing the gap to just one point after inflicting an all-out on the Titans. With the score at 24-23 and 10 minutes remaining, the game seemed destined for a dramatic finish.

However, Pawan Sehrawat had other plans. With his team under pressure, he continued his stellar performance, reaching a Super 10 and surpassing the remarkable milestone of 1,200 career points, becoming only the third player in PKL history to achieve such a feat. The Titans regained momentum, inflicting an all-out on the Bulls and eventually securing a 37-29 victory, leaving Bengaluru no chance for a late comeback.

Dabang Delhi starts with a comfortable win

Meanwhile, Dabang Delhi also started their PKL campaign with a strong showing against U Mumba. Led by Naveen Kumar and Ashu Malik, Delhi edged ahead with a slender lead in the first half. Despite U Mumba’s best efforts, Delhi maintained their advantage throughout, securing a comfortable 36-28 win to round off a stellar opening night.
