Zlatan Ibrahimovic thinks new AC Milan signing is handsome

Zlatan Ibrahimovic clarifies why Milan was adamant on signing Alvaro Morata, calling him a "complete striker" and the best fit for the team's younger players.  Activating the €13 million release clause in his contract, the club adviser took a seat alongside the former Atletico Madrid star at the presentation press conference.

After passing his physical in Madrid last month, the center-forward merely landed in Italy tonight and signed the deal this morning. He was granted extra time off for being a member of the Spain team that won EURO 2024.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic said, “I want to welcome the captain of the reigning European Champions. What we were looking for was a complete striker, present on the field and off it. Morata is a perfect example for us, as last season we had the youngest overall squad. Alvaro will also have this role off the field and we’ll help him take on that responsibility. He was the captain at the Euros and a guide to his teammates, he is a winner and a champion at club and international level.”

The Club Advisor of AC Milan also appreciated the looks of the Spanish striker. He said, Morata is also handsome, Milan players are handsome. We'll have to let Pavlovic grow his hair out so he can also be handsome.”

When the Rossoneri intervened, the Spaniard also appeared to be about to go to Saudi Arabia. Roma and a possible return to Juventus were also among his other choices.

He said, “In order to convince him, I said I would bring him joy. I know that if you are happy off the field, you are happy on it. He is not a player who needs to grow, Alvaro is already at the top and complete. Last season the directors laid the foundations, this summer we are working on the details and Alvaro is one of those. He has the DNA of Milan and is a winner.”
