It is reported that he experienced some muscle discomfort and focused on individual training for most of the session. Club sources indicated that he joined the main group for the final 30 minutes. However, the club remains optimistic for his availability in the Madrid derby.

The Galacticos head into the second leg tie with a slender lead, having secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory in their previous encounter.

Kylian Mbappe's fitness has been a focal point lately, particularly after he missed the Spanish Cup match against Real Sociedad due to a dental procedure. Since then, the striker's form has seen a dip as he managed to net only one goal in three appearances. To make matters worse, he was also substituted before regulation time in two of the last three fixtures.

“I have more than eleven players for this match; those who don’t play will also contribute in some shape or form... A well-made change can make a difference,” Ancelotti told a press conference.

“A derby is always a very close game. Sometimes we win, and sometimes they win. Tomorrow it will be the same. It will be decided by small details. That’s what’s going to happen tomorrow," Ancelotti added.

Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti answered stark questions concerning Mbappe's form and injury. He asserted that Mbappe is fit but didn't give a clear verdict about whether he would start for the team come Derby day.

“The goal is that we want to play in the quarterfinals whoever our players are. Rehearsing penalties is difficult, but we are not thinking about that at the moment. We’re thinking about how to play the game well...” he added.

Carlo Ancelotti revealed his team's objective heading into the clash. He asserted that Los Blancos desire to play the quarterfinals and are focused on playing the match well.
