FC Barcelona has stated that Lamine Yamal will miss their match against Real Sociedad due to a "severe contusion." Yamal was not included in Barcelona's traveling squad for Sunday night's match against Real Sociedad. Barcelona acknowledged that the 17-year-old sustained a "severe contusion" during Wednesday's 5-2 Champions League victory over Crvena Zvezda.
Two well-known players were absent from FC Barcelona's group training on Saturday as the La Liga giants continued to get ready for their La Liga away game against Real Sociedad on Sunday: Lamine Yamal as well as Dani Olmo. Dani Olmo was unable to participate in practice because of an upset stomach the previous evening, while Lamine Yamal merely worked out at the gym.
