As per the reports from SportsBild, Joshua Kimmich's future at Bayern Munich is at a pivotal moment as the club has decided to withdraw their contract offer for the midfielder after a recent board meeting. The 30-year-old player was informed earlier this week that the previous offer was no longer on the table. It appears that Bayern's management got frustrated with Kimmich's prolonged silence about his commitment to stay at Munich.
After Kimmich’s exceptional performances this season, the club presented a significantly improved offer, despite their initial aim to reduce his salary, which was anticipated to exceed €20 million per year.

However, during the quarterly supervisory board meeting on Monday, the decision was made to withdraw this offer regarding Kimmich’s contract status.
Negotiations are still ongoing, and while the possibility of an extension remains, it is unclear whether any future agreement will align with the withdrawn offer. Bayern is growing frustrated with the player's indecision, and rather than delving into contract specifics, the team is now seeking a definitive decision from Kimmich.
Since debuting at Allianz Arena in 2015, Joshua Kimmich has established himself as a vital player, making 426 appearances, scoring 43 goals, and providing 114 assists.
Negotiations were reportedly progressing positively, with expectations that Kimmich would sign a new contract. The two parties were close to reaching an agreement but then routes changed.
In June, he will enter free agency, allowing any team to sign him without any cost. It will be crucial to see if Kimmich accepts Bayern’s revised offer, which will certainly not exceed the terms he was offered previously.
