The Emirates Stadium will be known as the Arsenal Stadium for the Gunner's home fixture against Monaco. This adjustment is due to a lesser-known UEFA regulation that does not acknowledge stadium sponsors about their sponsorship rules.

This directly affects fellow Premier League club Manchester City, which competes under its original name, The City of Manchester Stadium, in European tournaments.

The stringent sponsorship regulations have forced clubs to alter their names to remain compliant. For instance, Austria's Red Bull Salzburg is recognized as FC Salzburg in European competitions.

The Manager's take on the important fixture

"We’re coming up now against a very good team in Monaco, they’re doing incredibly well and they are so used to it because we play every three days against this kind of opposition, so yeah, it’s learning about certain things and scenarios because the Champions League in different in certain ways, but there are similarities in the way that we have to compete day in, day out in the league." Arteta said.
