Deco revealed Hansi Flick's potential contract extension

Credits to Flick's guidance, Barcelona currently holds the third position in La Liga and came close to topping their Champions League group, finishing only two points shy of Liverpool.

"We're very happy with Hansi Flick and we see him happy here. If everything continues as it is, we'll work to extend his contract. It's nothing urgent. We keep going," Deco said.

Barcelona to bolster their defence in next transfer window

Barcelona is making strides for the 2025/26 campaign with the addition of a promising talent that aims to strengthen Hansi Flick’s squad. Germany international Tah, 29, has been on the club's radar for some time, and this move reflects Barcelona's commitment to enhancing their team despite their current financial challenges. By tapping into the free agent market, the club is taking a proactive approach to bolster their lineup and address key positions. The centre-back has made his final decision, but Barcelona emphasizes that no concrete agreement has been reached yet.

Before finalizing terms with Tah’s agents, Barcelona must address some internal matters. A crucial element of this process involves determining which of their current centre-backs will be moved on by summer. Most likely, this will be Andreas Christensen, who was nearly transferred during the January window.

Tah will be signing a contract with Barcelona that secures his commitment to the club until 2030, effectively dedicating the remainder of his career at the top level to the Catalan side. With an Estimated Transfer Value of €26.8 million, this move solidifies Barcelona's intent to sign for the future.
