'I'll watch...' Hansi Flick asserts he is going to keep an eye on the Madrid derby

The German manager addressed questions related to their upcoming La Liga clash. Acknowledging their league position, Flick emphasised that he anticipates a tricky encounter against Sevilla.

Barcelona stands strong in third place in La Liga, amassing 45 points, four points behind the leaders, Real Madrid, who are set to host their city rivals Atletico at the Bernabeu.

Barcelona is aiming for a third consecutive victory in La Liga after dominating Valencia with a 5-0 win in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals.

Hansi Flick is going to watch Madrid Derby

Hansi Flick was asked whether he would be watching the Madrid derby. He stated that he would first focus on the Barca B team, have dinner, and then tune in to the derby. He emphasised that his priority is on his own team but noted that the Derby match is intriguing as it is one of the premier clashes in Europe, and he, too, is eager to watch it.

“Every game you start from scratch. The atmosphere in the stadium is very nice. We have to play with our style and that’s what’s important," Hansi Flick said.

“First Barca B, then we’ll have dinner and then I’ll watch it. But we’re focusing on us. The match is interesting because it’s one of the best games in Europe and I want to see it." Flick added.
