The 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal was spotted watching Real Madrid's clash against Real Sociedad in the semi-finals of Copa Del Rey. The second-leg fixture was hosted at Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid.
The Galacticos emerged victorious 5-4 on aggregate in an edge-of-seat thriller. The winning goal came in the second half of extra time as Madrid sailed into the finals of the championship.

The 'king of clay' Rafael Nadal was spotted in the stands supporting his favourite football club, Real Madrid. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Rafael Nadal appeared visibly tensed moments before Madrid scored the winner in extra time. The southpaw indulged in celebrations as he emotionally pumped his hands up in the air along with thousands of fans in the stadium.
Real Madrid headed into the second leg fixture with a slender 1-0 lead. The second leg was a rollercoaster ride as both sides remained in contention for the final berth till the last whistle. Real Sociedad took the lead in the first half as Barrenetxea scored in the 16th minute. However, Madrid drew levels as Endrick scored in the 30th minute.
Real Sociedad almost went away with the game via an own goal from David Alaba (72nd ) and a stunner from Mikel Oyarzabal (80th minute). However, Madrid stood tall in the face of adversity and equalised with goals from Jude Bellingham and Tchouameni in the 82nd and 85th minutes
Oyarzabal once again put Real Sociedad in the driver's seat as he leapt the highest to score a bullet header. But Anton Rudiger equalised in the 115th minute to help Madrid win the game 5-4 on aggregate.
Real Madrid will take on either Barcelona or Atletico Madrid in the finals of the Copa Del Rey on April 26th, 2025.
