A few members of FC Barcelona embraced the opportunity to take a break by attending the NBA game between the Spurs and the Pacers.
After a hectic schedule in recent weeks, coach Hansi Flick granted the squad a day off, allowing players to recharge. While some opted for relaxation in various locations, a notable group decided to travel to Paris, enjoying a refreshing change of scenery and a more laid-back atmosphere away from football.
Jules Koundé, Lamine Yamal, Eric García, Ferran Torres, and Pedri enjoyed their time on this Parisian getaway. While some chose to soak in the city's iconic sights, others took the opportunity to experience a sporting event quite distinct from football.
Pedri, Ferran, and Eric attended the Accor Arena for the inaugural game of the NBA Paris Games 2025, an event that united fans from around the world. The exhilarating matchup featured Victor Wembanyama's team facing off against their rivals, offering the Catalan trio a thrilling glimpse of apex basketball action.
The presence of Pedri and Ferran was unmistakable, especially when they were seen engaging in conversation with a former Barcelona player, Ousmane Dembélé. The former Barcelona player, now at Paris Saint-Germain, had a delightful catch-up with his old teammates.
During the Indiana Pacers vs. San Antonio Spurs game, Ferran Torres, Pedri, and Eric Garcia didn’t hold back as they shared a warm hug with the former Catalan winger.

Not all Barca fans welcomed the reunion, with many regarding him as a traitor. However, his departure ultimately proved to be a blessing in disguise, as it created an opportunity for Lamine Yamal to rise and make his mark.
Dembele stayed at Camp Nou for 6 years between 2017 and 2023. During his tenure, he scored 24 goals for the side. However, he is remembered for his infamous missed chance against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League 2019, which crashed the side out of the competition. He is also disliked by Barcelona fans for his over-the-top celebrations when he scored the winner against the club for PSG in last year's Champions League.
