Many fans are particularly disappointed with the rise in season ticket prices and the announcement that all remaining tickets for Premier League matches would be priced at £66, without concessions for children or those over 65.

The INEOS chief initially opened the car window to engage with a group of fans, assuming they were requesting a photo. However, upon hearing their negative remarks, he promptly closed the window.

United's travelling supporters at Fulham expressed their concerns about the club's recent warning regarding potential ticket price increases for the next season. The move is being considered as a measure to address the pressures from the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability regulations.

Manchester United's travelling supporters at Fulham expressed their concerns regarding the club's recent warning about the potential for increased ticket prices next season, which aims to address the challenges posed by the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability regulations.

"£66 - what are you doing? You're taking the p**s. Worse than the Glazers," said those Manchester United fans.

This unrest among fans coincided with the announcement from Britain’s Labour government, which expressed its support for United's ambitious plans to develop a new 100,000-seat stadium on the site of Old Trafford.

"I don't think it makes sense for a Manchester United ticket to cost less than a ticket to see Fulham," said Ratcliffe.

"I don’t want to end up in a position where the genuine local fans can't afford to come, but I do want to optimise the ticketing. We need to find a balance. And you can't be popular all the time either." added Ratcliffe.
