Ivan Toney, who recently completed his move from Brentford to Al-Ahli of the Saudi Pro League, is expected to earn approximately £84 million. The 28-year-old striker, who was in the last year of his current deal with the Bees, was the focus of a lot of rumour throughout the summer transfer season. Yesterday, when the move was announced and Toney was spotted in the Al Ahli headquarters, one of the club officials sung his chant to which Toney could only nod and the moment has gone viral on social media.

Toney was expected to remain in the top flight of English football, as teams like Chelsea and Arsenal were said to be interested in hiring him. But after Al-Ahli agreed to sign the England international for £40 million from Brentford, he decided to relocate to the Middle East and joined them.

After clearing a medical in London, Ivan Toney completed his move to Al-Ahli the previous Friday night. The next day, he bid farewell to Brentford after watching their 3-1 victory over Southampton at home.

Since arriving in Saudi Arabia, the attacker has trained with Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, Edouard Mendy, Gabri Veiga, and Franck Kessie, among his new teammates. When Al-Ahli plays with Ronaldo's Al-Nassr away from its home during the Saudi Pro League on Friday, Toney might make his debut for the team.

How much will Ivan Toney make with Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League?

Toney signed a four-year deal with the Royals that will expire in the summer of 2028, making him one of the highest-paid club players in England. The Mirror claims that Toney's astonishing £403,000 weekly salary, including bonuses, is worth £800,000 before taxes over the course of his four-year deal.

The striker reportedly earns roughly 13 times the £36,000-per-week pay he was receiving at Brentford, where he played for four years and scored 72 goals in 141 matches. In 17 games in the Premier League last season, Toney, who played for England at UEFA Euro 2024, contributed with four goals after serving an eight-month ban for violating Football Association betting regulations.
