Ibrahima Konate made a unique fashion statement by wearing a green mask when he arrived at France's Clairefontaine base to join his team ahead of their upcoming Nations League matches. The Liverpool player seemed cheerful as he posed for the press before heading into training.
The 25-year-old is recognized for his strong defensive partnership with Virgil van Dijk in the Premier League, and he has also displayed his unique personality off the field.

Konate recently garnered attention on social media for arriving at training wearing a green hood that was zipped up to conceal his face. This left the photographers waiting to capture his arrival puzzled as they were unable to identify the player who had confidently stepped out of the car.
The centre-back had the waiting photographers guessing as they struggled to identify the proud figure stepping out of the car.
Konate confidently strolled towards the photographers and teasingly remarked
"You don't know who I am? Try to guess."
He sported a stylish black flannel suit over a vibrant green underlay, paired with chunky black shoes, as he posed for pictures.
Konate unzipped his boldface mask, posed with a peace V-sign, and made his way up the stairs. He then entered the France HQ reception area with a cameraman following him. Unlike England stars, who typically wear team tracksuits when reporting for international duty at St George's Park, France players often showcase their unique fashion preferences.
France is set to face Israel
France will face Israel in Hungary due to the security situation in the Middle East before travelling to Belgium next Monday.
Kylian Mbappe has been omitted from the squad after spending time on the Real Madrid sidelines with a hamstring issue.
Liverpool is actively working to secure Konate with a new contract, and initial discussions have been held with his representatives. The France international's current contract runs until the summer of 2026.
