With his brace against Slovenia, Erling Haaland became Norway's all-time top scorer and entered the annals of history. The Manchester City forward scored his 33rd goal for his nation on Thursday during the seventh minute of Norway's match against Slovenia. With the goal, he tied the Norwegian great Jørgen Juve. Shortly after the hour, Haaland went one better to break the record for himself via another goal.

Haaland has proven to be a prolific goal scorer for several seasons. In 36 games for Norway, he has scored 34 goals. In 308 appearances for his club, he has netted 256 goals. He is possibly the greatest attacker in the world because of this, and he still has more to give.
