The agent of Youssoufa Moukoko has declared that the wonderkid intends to depart from Borussia Dortmund in order to investigate reports of interest from England, France, and Spain.

Over the past two years, Moukoko, 19, has been connected to Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Other teams reportedly showing interest in the young forward, who already had scored 158 goals at different age groups before turning 20, include Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain.

The contract extension that the Germany under-21 star signed in January of last year expires during the summer of 2026. Patrick Williams, senior vice president of worldwide football at Wasserman in Germany, has admitted that they are now gauging interest. Williams has disclosed Moukoko's intention to depart from Dortmund by way of Fabrizio Romano, who posted extensive remarks purportedly from the player's representative.

He said, “Youssoufa has a huge potential, which, unfortunately, he couldn‘t show last season," Williams is quoted as saying. "I think the fact that he scored five goals in 613 minutes says everything about his quality. Few players in the Bundesliga have such a rate.”

The player’s agent added, “Youssoufa was promised a lot before he signed, but it wasn't realized. He was always only interested in playing and in his development - not in anything else, just like the media reports always claimed. If it had been about the money, he could have accepted other lucrative offers where he could have earned more than three times as much.”

“BVB is making a mistake in giving Youssoufa away” : Patrick Williams

The agent highlighted by saying that the club is making a mistake. He said, “It's not a secret that there are enough clubs out here who believe in Youssoufa's qualities and want him in their team. I say BVB is making a mistake in giving Youssoufa away. With so little playing time, everyone will know that Youssoufa's market value will be low, and Dortmund can't expect much.

He concluded by saying that, “We wanted it to be different, but that's the football business. Youssoufa is totally clear in his mind, extremely focused and knows what he wants to drive his career forward. Now we are sounding out interest from England, Spain and France”.
