Manchester United's loanee to Real Betis, Antony was left in agony as his team lost in the finals of Conference League 2025. Real Betis had a great run in the tournament up until they faced Chelsea in the finals.

Antony left distraught after the heartbreaking loss in the Conference League finals 

Following the conclusion of the humiliating loss, Real Betis star Antony was left in tears of disbelief as he crouched near his team's box in utter shock and agony. One of the management staff was spotted comforting the Brazilian who has otherwise had a stellar stint at Real Betis this season. However, the 25-year-old ghosted in the Conference League finals and failed to make any impact throughout the match.

The match commenced positively for Real Betis, with Ezzalzouli scoring their first goal in the ninth minute. Real Betis successfully maintained their lead going into the halftime break.

In the second half, the narrative shifted dramatically as Chelsea not only penetrated Real Betis's defense but also bombarded them with relentless assaults. The equalizer arrived in the 65th minute when Enzo Fernandez seized a brilliant assist from Cole Palmer to score his goal.

Chelsea took the lead in the 70th minute, with Cole Palmer providing another remarkable assist to Nicholas Jackson, who expertly headed the ball into the net. They secured their third goal in the 83rd minute through Jordan Sancho. The Blues put the final nail in the coffin in the 90+1 minute as Moises Caicedo added his name to the scoresheet.

Antony whose loan period is about to get over soon, has expressed his desire to stay at Betis. In his 17 appearances this season, Antony has scored 5 goals and assisted twice.
