Alejandro Garnacho vs Brentford

Against Brentford, Alejandro Garnacho produced a fantastic equalizer. In the first Premier League game back at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, the 20-year-old winger saved the day for Manchester United.

Prior to a brilliant cross-field play by teammate Marcus Rashford, Argentina's Garnacho saw himself with room at the back post. Rashford's lofted pass was delivered with precision, but United's number 17 still needed to outperform Mark Flekken. Garnacho single-handedly pulled the Red Devils even after making an incredible connection with the pass and volleying the ball directly towards the Stretford End net.

Manchester United might have dropped to 13th place in the standings at the end of the weekend if they hadn't made a full recovery and won the full three points from Saturday's match at Old Trafford.

When Matthijs De Ligt remained off the field getting medical attention for a head injury, Ethan Pinnock netted a spectacular header to put the home team ahead only seconds before halftime. Erik Ten Hag, who is still under a lot of pressure for maintaining his job, would have had a powerful halftime team talk because he had no choice but not to go on a bad note. They responded effectively when United quickly equalized two minutes following the interval.

Manchester United complete the stunning comeback against Brentford

At Old Trafford, United rallied from behind to grab the lead when a goal from Rasmus Hojlund put them ahead 2-1. With a brilliant backheel, skipper Bruno Fernandes flicks the ball into Hojlund's path as the home team executes a clean team play. The game was turned upside down when the Danish attacker dinked it past the Brentford goalkeeper at close range.

Joshua Zirkzee, a substitute, did not properly touch the pass that Marcus Rashford delivered into the penalty box. He still seems to be getting used to the game. That would have given the home team all three points and may have been their third goal.
