As Alejandro Garnacho's influence grows, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has taken to wearing his Manchester United jersey when he has homework to complete. At Old Trafford, the 20-year-old winger used to work with five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo. Even though Garnacho is Lionel Messi's teammate on the Argentina national team, he has never concealed his affection for CR7.

Cristiano Ronaldo is Garnacho's hero, and it seems that respect is reciprocated. Georgina Rodriguez posted a photo of Cristiano Jr. studying in the Saudi Arabian heat whilst sporting a United away jersey with the number "Garnacho 17" on the back on social media.

There has been discussion of Garnacho possibly inheriting the No.7 jersey in Manchester that Ronaldo previously wore with such distinction. He is currently playing at number 17, where England international Mason Mount is still wearing the famous shirt that has been worn by players like David Beckham, Eric Cantona, and George Best.

As Cristiano Jr. keeps making an impression in Al-Nassr's academy, he might get the opportunity to claim the shirt one day. His legendary father is still going hard at 39 years old, so he hopes to one day succeed in those most illustrious footsteps.

“I think if he didn’t have that anger” : Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski showered praise for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, as he said, “As for Cristiano, he has written many pages of history and has always raised the bar for everyone around him, and this is something that cannot be overlooked. Although he has achieved everything or almost everything, and he is 39 years old and approaching 40, it is clear that he has ambition, as he gets angry and nervous, and this shows his great ambition.

The former Bayern Munich striker said, “I think if he didn’t have that anger, he might have looked like he was just playing for the sake of playing. But he clearly still has the desire, and he looks physically in very good shape, which shows that the path he chose was successful. Regardless of age, his numbers keep going up and not the other way around. Of course, he is an exception and there are very few exceptions like him.”
