FC Barcelona have been one of the finest sides in the European club football. The Blaugranes have struggled with form in the current season as they are ending the season without any trophies. They lost La Liga to their arch-rivals, Real Madrid and were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after being defeated by Paris Saint-Germain. The Catalonian club are looking to finish on a higher note. However, the club has lost their 2nd place after losing against Girona.
After the loss, Vitor Roque's agent Andre Cury, sent a subtle warning to the club that if the Brazilian is set to leave the club it will be a permanent one and not on loan. There are speculations that the forward might leave on loan for the 2024/25 season. The 19-year-old footballer has struggled to get game time in Spain since joining he joined in January.
Roque has only played for 138 minutes and appeared in 11 games across all competitions for the club and has found the net only twice. Cury is unhappy with the way he has been treated in the club, as the head coach refused to comment on the factor and it is believed that he opened the door to a loan elsewhere in a recent press conference. His client is not interested in any loan deal as this will likely harm the player’s progress. His agent has also insisted the situation has to change.
We will discuss his future with Barça soon: Andre Cury
The agent said, "We chose Barça because Vitor loves the club, imagine that we really had other proposals that gave us twice as much. But if we can't find a solution internally, we will have to look for another place on a permanent transfer. No one understands why Xavi doesn’t play him and doesn’t even speak to Vitor, it’s not right. We will discuss his future with Barça soon."
The management will undergo huge change as they are planning to sell off some players in the upcoming summer window. Along with big names who are on the list to be leaving the club, the club decided that three players are 'untouchables' at the moment Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi and Gavi. The 44-year-old manager also decided to stay after he thought of leaving the club as he believed the project had been incomplete.
