Vinicius Junior pens down heartful message to Toni Kroos on his birthday

Today marks the 35th birthday of Toni Kroos, a standout player for both Germany and Real Madrid. Just before Real Madrid clinched another Champions League title, the German midfielder announced his retirement from football. His departure marks the end of a career defined by trophies, precision, timing, and decisive moments.

After Germany's elimination from Euro 2024, Kroos sent an emotional letter to football fans announcing his retirement from the game. Kroos expressed his gratitude for his 17 years as a professional football player in a lengthy post on social media.

Over his many years in football, Toni Kroos won almost everything a player could expect to win. Playing with Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and Madrid, he won several titles during his career and helped his nation win the 2014 World Cup. After his actions in Madrid, he will probably be greeted with open arms upon his return. 

On his 35th birthday he was wished for by many players among them was his Real Madrid team Vinicius Junior. Vinicus Jr. took to Instagram to wish Toni Kroos. He posted,  “Happy Birthday, Toni Kroos. All the Best! We miss you!”

Vinicius Jr got red card for pushing  Stole Dimitrievski

Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr got a red card in the last game. The incident took place when the Brazilian winger was seen pushing Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski in the head near the end of the game, it became a major talking point. Nevertheless, despite being down a man, Los Blancos rallied to win thrillingly thanks to goals from Jude Bellingham and Luka Modric.

Hugo Duro's goal in the 27th minute puts Valencia in lead before the halftime. As he anticipated his team's late triumph, Vinicius was seen on TV cameras delivering a heated speech to his colleagues in the tunnel. On Monday, Los Blancos will return to action as they travel to play Dep Minera in a Copa del Rey round of 32 matches. Vinicius will be able to participate.
