Ruud van Nistelrooy to be sacked

Although Manchester United can take pride in their achievement with Sir Alex Ferguson, they were forced to sever their relationship due to the evolution of football. In order to offer the new owners of INEOS a "clean slate," Troy Deeney expressed this opinion and acknowledged that he wouldn't retain Ruud van Nistelrooy assuming he were manager.

On November 11, United confirmed that Ruben Amorim would take Erik ten Hag's place as their permanent head coach. Many predicted that club veteran Van Nistelrooy would replace Ten Hag as full-time manager, and he will continue to serve in an interim capacity until then. But Amorim has been selected to guide Manchester United ahead, and Deeney would prefer to have the Dutchman leave if he were in his shoes.

Troy Deeney spoke to Talksport as he said, "Absolutely not, they shouldn't have considered him as an option. I think Ruud van Nistelrooy's profile and what he was doing as a manager last year, while it was good, no one touting him to get one of the big jobs. And secondly, he's gone in there as an assistant which has boosted his profile, it's raised his profile, he's not been hit with any of the Erik ten Hag negativity, style of play etc.”

“I wouldn't want him around either” : Troy Deeney

The former Watford player said, "Now he's got a couple of games, other than Chelsea, he should win, he should have an attacking impetus and to showcase what he can do. So if anything it's a perfect situation. If it was me that was going in as a new manager, I wouldn't want him around either.
