Giovani Lo Celso is expected to leave Tottenham in the summer due to his dissatisfaction, according to Football Insider. Ange Postecoglou's plans may not include the playmaker, and the Spurs' last remaining opportunity to make a move is during the summer transfer window.

Over the past several years, Tottenham has made some odd acquisitions. Giovani Lo Celso's signing is right up there with the record-breaking purchase of Tanguy Ndombele. The North Londoners made a significant investment in the £55 million playmaker during his peak Real Betis years, but he never truly took off in the hardest league of them all.

According to a recent rumour, Tottenham may lose the Argentine and Bryan Gil, amongst other players. According to reports, the player is unhappy with his lack of playing time since the start of the season and wants to quit the team. The £55 million midfielder is not in Ange Postecoglou's plans for the upcoming season.

Earlier in the campaign, Lo Celso did seem to be coming back to Spurs with a goal versus Manchester City. He hasn't had much of an impact after that and is still struggling as a substitute player for Postecoglou, who favours other players over the playmaker.

What lies ahead for Tottenham Hotspur and Giovani Lo Celso?

Regarding Lo Celso and many other players, Tottenham has no intentions. Spurs' final opportunity to recover a portion of their initial £55 million expenditure is during the summer transfer window, however they may not acquire the Argentine they desire.

Barcelona was one of the teams linked to Lo Celso heading into the January transfer window. But because of their well-documented financial problems, the Catalan club would need to pay a modest price for Spurs to be able to close a deal.

However, they've already found a definite replacement and are quite interested in Morgan Gibbs-White. The Nottingham Forest player, who is interested with additional top-flight teams like Arsenal, will cost Spurs a significant sum of money.
