On Monday, Inigo Martinez, the defender for Barcelona, was spotted fighting with a fan opposite the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The defender pulled over, got out, and approached the fan. The video makes it quite evident that dad was not pleased at all and told the child to stop. 

The centre-back was reportedly seen stating that, “It’s the last time you call me stupid, the last. The last time you insult me. And your friend the same. Have you heard or not? The last. And don’t be cocky,”

The altercation is the most recent in a long line of altercations involving Barcelona players and supporters. During his tenure at the club, former player Samuel Umtiti was confronted by a fan and had to exit his car in order to request some respect.

Inigo Martinez to leave FC Barcelona in the summer?

An update from Marcos Duran suggests that Inigo Martinez may join Atletico Madrid, while Joao Felix may stay at FC Barcelona.
