Tottenham Hotspur made a comeback win on Saturday against Luton Town. The North London side despite starting brilliantly in the current season their form has gone down during the halfway stages of the league. Spurs having won their last game are currently placed 5th in the league table, they are 8 points ahead of  Manchester United and 3 points behind Aston Villa with one game in hand.

Ange Postecoglou's side will be facing West Ham United away from home and will look to get all three points to compete for a place in the  UEFA Champions League group stage next season. Ahead of the West Ham game, Postecoglou was asked about whether Manchester United will be able to catch his Tottenham side in the top-four race. United plays Chelsea away from home and Liverpool on Sunday at Old Trafford, and there is a grim chance that the side will get a victory in the upcoming two games. On the other hand, the North London side will host Nottingham Forest at home.

After being asked about United's chances of catching his Tottenham side, Postecoglou appeared to downplay the Red Devils' hopes. He mentioned the impossible scenario of his team catching defending champions Manchester City, who are eight points ahead of his team, which is the same margin United would need to close to catch Spurs.
