In the English Premier League at Goodison Park on Saturday, Bournemouth stunned Everton 3-2 with three goals in the closing minutes, leaving the hosts without a point from three games. Everton, under duress following two league defeats, took a 2-0 advantage in a seven-minute period following the interval thanks to goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michael Keane.

With three minutes remaining, Bournemouth equalized the score thanks to a close-range goal from Antoine Semenyo. For the majority of the match, Bournemouth was on the defensive and seldom posed a danger to the Everton goal.

Everton dropped towards the bottom of the Premier League standings after Lewis Cook's strong header in additional time reached the back of the target and Luis Sinisterra's winning goal broke Everton's hearts. This has surely been a shocking start to the season for them and would look to turn the tables in their next run of games.

How did the game between Everton and AFC Bournemouth play out?

Despite their team's terrible start to the season, the sun sparkled on Goodison, and the supporters were in high spirits, but there weren't many opportunities created in the first half. Five minutes into the second half, Calvert-Lewin pushed the ball towards Keane, who blasted a low effort past Chelsea loanee goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. Seven minutes into the half, it appeared like Bournemouth was finished.

When Dwight McNeil slid the ideal ball into Dominic Calvert-Lewin's path and he tucked his effort past the charging Kepa, it appeared as though Bournemouth were going to lose in the league for the first time this year.

Nevertheless, Everton was able to steal defeat from the clutches of triumph as they gave up three goals in a row to ruin all of their hard work. When an unguarded Cook met Sinisterra's ball and drove his header past Jordan Pickford, Bournemouth appeared to be headed for a third straight Premier League draw. Dango Ouattara's cross past the net reached Semenyo near the back post bringing one back.
